Swim Date: August 5, 2017

The swim is managed by the Across the Lake Swim Society. The same team who runs Canada's largest
and longest running open water swim, the Interior Savings Across the Lake Swim Kelowna.

What's New

  • A whole new team running the event.
  • For the 3.1KM swim, a support person is not mandatory.
  • Everyone gets our award winning towel and swag bag!
  • A new transportation system for the 3.1KM swimmers
  • New sponsors and lots more!

Swim Buddy

A Swim Buddy is a small inflatable float that is becoming popular at open water swim events. The float is attached to your waist with a strap and floats behind you as you swim. They are highly visible so both your support person and the power boats can see you, and you can hold it when you are tired.

Keeping Kids Safe

Funding from our swims support our Okanagan Swims Program through YMCA Okanagan. Each year we send EVERY 3rd Grader in School District #23 (Peachland to Lake Country) for FREE swimming lessons and teach them life-saving skills to be safe in and around water.
